Keaton Diener, BWMSMatt Heitkamp, BEMSMr. Heitkamp is thrilled to be entering into his second full year of teaching at Brownsburg East! A proud Bulldog from Butler University (Go Dawgs!), he is excited to be back teaching the East choirs, always threatening a great dad joke or five! He is also excited to be stepping into music directing for Brownsburg High School's production of The Little Mermaid this November! He has previously music directed musicals at Center Grove High School.. He is also excited to step into the role of band leader for Moonlight!
Outside of school, Mr. Heitkamp enjoys running (if you see him running in Brownsburg, say hi!), reading complicated novels, cooking, and sleeping. |
Teresa Fowler, BWMSMrs. Fowler is excited for her 11th year at West! She and her husband, Chris, live in Brownsburg, and love spending time with their daughters and son-in-law. Mrs. Fowler loves teaching Choir and is excited about all the things ahead for this year. When she's not teaching, she's bicycling, gardening, reading, or spending time with friends and family. She loves playing the piano for church and supporting other choir teachers through Choir Is Family resources and sharing at events. Her musical journey has allowed her to be a guest conductor, arranger, accompanist, actress, soloist, composer, and clinician. She is always learning and looking for ways to improve and bring the best experience possible to her students. Her favorite part of Choir is the laughter and the sound of so many singers working together to create amazing music!
Allison Pena, BEMS Ms. Pena is thrilled to be teaching another year at East Middle School! She is the proud director of Brownsburg's Middle School Show Choir "Moonlight" and is excited to lead the choir to another successful season! Graduating from the University of Indianapolis (go hounds!), Ms. Pena is quite active in the music community, performing in multiple bands across the state and was a featured performer in conferences in Florida and Texas, as well as performing in around a dozen musicals and operas. When she is not at school, Ms. Pena enjoys being outside, reading, and spending time with friends and family, especially her adorable pup- Peanut!
